In August 2022, Cannon Piling commenced work for Cfield Construction on the scheme at Quayside Lodge in London. The total package included 251 CFA load-bearing piles and 308 secant wall piles, resulting in 12 weeks of works for Cannon on site. The cages on the project are the largest Cannon Piling have installed to date - 9nr. H40x14.5 in a 600m OD spiral.
The project posed a number of challenges, the largest of which was designing and constructing around an existing quay wall which historically served as a dry dock to the River Thames. This is where Cannon's design expertise were essential, utilising our experience in and around London to create the best solution possible for the client.
