Cannon Piling installed 400mm CFA piles to form a retaining contiguous pile wall for a basement structure, which included a dropped level to accommodate a swimming pool.

The basement excavation reached depths of up to 4.5m, with a three‑storey house constructed above on completion. As shown in the project images, the walls were temporarily propped during excavation, allowing the design to utilise smaller‑diameter piles and maximise usable internal space for the client.

This project was delivered for Olive Grove Developments, working in collaboration with the groundworks contractor Anning Ltd.
